Maligayang pagdating! Welcome!

Join me on a journey through the world of Filipino martial arts (FMA). I’ve been studying Filipino martial arts for over 10 years. While I’m continuing to learn, practice and refine my knowledge of the art, I am starting to explore and learn about the various FMA systems, practitioners and the history of FMA. I am reading books, magazine articles and watching videos about FMA. I’m taking notes – so I can remember what I’m learning. The idea of collecting and sharing this information with others led me to start this blog.

The story of FMA originated from the history and events that the Filipino people had to face. My learning journey will include the history and culture of the Filipino people.

Filipino Martial Arts Chronicles (FMAC) delves into available sources to reconstruct a picture of the Filipino Martial Arts, the people and events that created this fighting system and resilient spirit.
